Karen Parker is an educator with over 15 years of experience.  She grew up in the Great Lake State of Michigan, dreaming of having her own library and becoming a writer.  She spent her childhood creating her own magazines and reading, reading, reading.  Karen spent the first nine years of her career as a classroom teacher, where she amassed a 3,000 book classroom library for her students and wrote stories for them.  her childhood dreams accomplished, Karen headed to the east coast to chase new adventures.  She currently resides in the NYC Metro area with her partner and their 18 year old cat, diego.
